Depending on their structure or shape, a distinction is made between cylindrical and spherical bombs, the latter being the most commonly used type. The calibers start at 50 mm and in most cases end at 150 mm. There are also bombs of larger diameter, but these are very rarely used because of the required larger safety radius. The price depends on the caliber, the country of manufacture and the quality of the bombs. For a diversified fireworks display, there are other variants of pyrotechnic objects, just like you know it from New Year’s Eve fireworks: fountains, suns, Roman lights, fire pots, comet tubes or light batteries. The difference is mainly the larger caliber and the higher set weight. The predominant part of the fireworks used in Germany comes from China. But also in Europe or Germany, large fireworks are still produced on a smaller scale. These fireworks are mostly of very good quality and color brilliance. Every country has its typical fireworks tradition. The fireworks from Italy and Spain, for example, are characterized by very loud cutters and salutes and are often combined with church celebrations.
