Like a screen, the figure is composed of individual dots which, when viewed from a distance, form a coherent image. These dots consist of individual fires (lances), which are mounted in the shape of the later figure and are connected with a fast-burning fuse (stoppine), so that the picture is quickly visible as a whole after ignition. The lances are available in many different colors, so that almost all wishes can be realized. For some time now, there have been low-smoking versions of the lances based on cellulose nitrate, which can also be used in larger interiors. Because of the only small required safety distance, such lances are also well suited for smaller places. In combination with other fireworks variants, they produce visually particularly attractive pictures.
